Official WoW Forever news. Check the realm version before trying these changes on our independent server.
Read this as an earlier milestone
On October 1 at 22:56 UTC, Blizzard’s Kaivax announced a WoW Forever build with a maximum level of 30. It was already October 2 in Kyiv. This article looks back at that milestone; the number is not a claim about the current cap or our own realm. The original post also received an edit on October 2 UTC.
A new route through the dungeon list
The update introduced Excavation Site: Wetlands, listed for levels 26–31. It also opened Razorfen Downs for level 25 and above, and for level 30 and above. A dungeon’s listed range and the character cap are different pieces of information. Do not assume that every enemy will match your level or that a fresh level 30 character is ready for every pull. Agree on roles and check the entry requirements before gathering the party.
Small safeguards worth noticing
The same notes removed the option until its functionality could be fixed. Its absence in that build therefore was not simply a hidden graphics preference. Campfires stopped damaging characters below level 5 and dealt reduced damage to players below 90% health. That is a reduction for the latter group, not blanket immunity. Treat these as dated changes from this announcement rather than a current server checklist.
Prepare a group on free TWOW.PARTY
On our free TWOW.PARTY server, you can practise assigning dungeon roles, reading level ranges and discussing the first pull using content actually available on the realm. Begin at the Play link and check the server version. This helps with group preparation; it does not confirm that Blizzard’s Wetlands dungeon, level cap or campfire changes are installed here. Keep observations from the official and our independent realm separate.
