WoW Forever: why an economy hold does not settle an RMT case

First, check what has stopped working

Say a letter will not send. Keep the error message, the time and the action you tried. A failed mail action is one observation; a notice restricting the account is another. Writing those details down is our practical advice, not a Blizzard evidence requirement.

The relevant Kaivax post was published on October 13 UTC, already October 14 in Kyiv. It concerns official WoW Forever. This guide returns to that explanation; there is no new economy-hold announcement here today.

A hold starts with suspicion

RMT means real-money trading, including gold buying. Blizzard says an account suspected of selling or receiving illicit gains may have trade, mail, guild banks and the Auction House restricted. The aim is to stop suspicious gold circulating while the case is investigated. Those are economic services. The post does not announce a blanket login ban.

That distinction matters if a guildmate is affected. The restriction alone does not establish that they bought gold. Blizzard acknowledges false positives as it tunes the system. If the trigger turns out to have been false, the hold is removed automatically; confirmed involvement in RMT can lead to account action. A hold alone leaves no permanent strike unless RMT motivation is later proven.

Nobody can calculate a release time from this post

There is no maximum waiting period, detection threshold or complete list of sanctions in the announcement. Another player getting access back after a certain time gives you no deadline for your own account. Read the restriction you actually received before assuming it covers every service.

Where our free server helps

TWOW.PARTY/Forever is our independent, free place to learn mechanics and check available changes. For ordinary inventory checks and trade practice, check our realm version and rules first: https://twow.party/?lang=en#play. The connection guide is at https://twow.party/en/start. This practice does not show how Blizzard investigates RMT, and we do not claim the same hold system or enforcement rules run on our server.
